2019
Vision and Ideation
Our journey began with a vision to revolutionize patient care through cannabis-based treatments. Inspired by the potential of medical cannabis, our founders sought to create a company dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients. This initial ideation set the foundation for Oleo’s mission and values.
2020
Research and Development
With our vision in place, we focused on rigorous research and development. Our team collaborated with medical professionals and researchers to create effective, safe, and innovative cannabis products. This commitment to R&D ensures that our offerings meet the highest standards of quality and efficacy.
2021
Launching Oleo
In 2021, we officially launched Oleo and introduced our first cannabis-based products to Ireland's Medical Cannabis Access Programme (MCAP). With the approval of our initial products for treating chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, we achieved a significant milestone in our journey. Additionally, we launched the Oleo Panacea dry herb inhaler, along with OleoCare, our patient app and doctor portal.
2021-2024
Expanding Access
As we grew, we focused on expanding access to our products for patients across Ireland. We developed the OleoCare platform to facilitate tracking and support, ensuring patients receive the best care possible. Our ongoing commitment is to enhance the accessibility of medical cannabis for all who need it.
